Amy
Certified Dental Hygienist
Aimee is proud to claim she is a true local of Okaloosa county. She has lived here for 48 years! She enjoys boating, fishing, gardening, and socials with her family and friends. Her most recent new hobby is being a Grandmother! She now has a granddaughter and grandson, who live in Crestview.
Aimee was inspired by her own family dentist to enter the dental profession. "I knew at age 13 I wanted to be a dental professional. I loved going to my cleaning appointments and always asked my dentist questions about dental health. He recognized that I found dentistry fascinating, and encouraged my questions. That fueled my desire to become a dental hygienist!"
She began her dental career in 1989 as an oral surgery technician at Eglin AFB, as a Red Cross Volunteer. She continued her education and graduated at the top of her class, in 1992, from the Pensacola State Dental Hygiene
Program. For the past 30 years she has worked in Pediatrics, Periodontics, and Family Practice. She came to our office almost 10 years ago, after moving back to the area. She worked as a PRN Hygienist, when her six (yes six!) children were small, for many years. She started working full-time with us, last year when her youngest son started high school.
Aimee likes to explain her passion to help others is what drives her to continue her long career in dentistry. "I know God gave me many talents, and they all blend perfectly with this field. I am blessed every time I get to be a part of the team that encourages patients, listens to their concerns, and teaches them how to reach their goal of having a healthy beautiful smile!"
